National ICT Internship Programme

 

Guidelines for Preparation of Internship Report :

  1.

 Length of the Report : Maximum 10 pages including the cover page
   
  2. Paper Size : A4
   
  3. Font specification :  Font - Times New Roman
                            Font size -12 pt.
                            Line spacing - 1.5 lines
   
  4. Cover Page : Click here to see a sample of the cover page
   
  5. Content of the Report : Include the following sections in your report :
   
  i.  Introduction

Include a brief introduction of the report, the Internship batch number, time duration, etc. Include a brief introduction of the Intern and the company the intern was attached to.
   
  ii.  Work Environment

Describe the company, its work environment including physical facilities, computing facilities, human resources, persons who supervised the Interns, and important products/projects the company produced or delivered.
   
  iii.  Work Experience

- Include a brief introduction to the projects or works you got involved.

- Include the hardware and software tools you used in your projects or works.

- Briefly touch upon the challenges you faced in delivering the projects or works. Answer questions like:
  Was it easy or difficult for you? Why?
   
  iv. Learning : This important section must answer the following questions

- What did you learn during the Internship at the company you were attached with?

- What new technologies (both hardware and software) did you learn?

- How do the projects or works you completed during the Internship relate to your education and
  training?
   
  v. Conclusion :  Include answers to the following questions                    

- How do the projects or works completed under the Internship program help you in your further 
  development and in career?

- How much the experience do you think would help you getting a job in the country’s ICT sector?

- How much the experience do you think would help you getting an ICT related overseas job?

- Your concluding comments or remarks

 
  6. Submission :

This report has to be submitted to the Ministry of Science and Information & Communication Technology. This report has to be prepared by the Intern and then forwarded to Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) by the company he/she was attached to.
