The overall objective of this course is to provide solid understanding of Computer Hardware to build participant’s confidence to maintain and to solve computer problems. The course will provide instruction on components of computer systems including the system board, peripherals, operating systems, disk drives, monitor, modem and printers. It also explains the basics of networking and internet and provides guidance on troubleshooting and maintenance tasks should be performed routinely.

·    Understanding of Memory System, BIOS, Processors, Motherboard, BUS Architecture, Storage System, Backup Media and Interface.

·    Partitioning and Formatting Hard Disk

·    Operating System and their Installation.

·    Power System and safety

·    Installation of Peripheral Devices

·    Virus Protection and Security Issue

·    Basic Networking and Internet

·    Computer Troubleshooting

·    Practical Works.
